B. Exceptions for financial assistance is required by the Finance Committee before the otherwise qualified student is admitted.

C. Appeals may be made to the Board of Trustees.

II. Specific Policies

A. Parents must subscribe to ECA’s Statement of Faith and desire to cooperate with us to develop their child(ren) so that he/she will be a strong Christian.

B. We are seeking parents and students who demonstrate the following:

  1. The parents (at least one) and the seventh through twelfth grade student(s) are born-again Christians (John 3:3, I Peter 1:23)
  2. The parents and student(s) understand that the school’s guiding principle is to glorify God in all areas of the school program and that our basis of instruction and value teaching is the Bible, the word of God.
  3. The parents and student(s) model faithfulness and personal commitment in a Bible believing church that agrees with ECA’s Statement of Faith. This faithfulness is demonstrated by involvement in church activities beyond Sunday morning services.
  4. The student has been promoted the preceding year or the parents are willing to have him/her repeat, if deemed necessary by ECA.
  5. The student has a sufficiently positive record of discipline and emotional adjustment to facilitate adjustments at ECA.
  6. The seventh through twelfth grade student expresses a personal desire to attend ECA. The kindergarten through sixth grade student either expresses a personal desire to attend or a willingness to accept his/her parents’ wishes in the matter.
  7. The student does not have a court record.
  8. The parents are aware and supportive of the policies and role of ECA in educating their child. The parents agree to the school’s philosophy statement; in turn, the child is to exhibit openness to God’s direction for spiritual growth through this same philosophy and school policies.
