Student Life Covenant

Dress Code

Chapel, worship, and small groups are integral to the culture of Emmanuel Christian Academy. Every Thursday, students, faculty, and staff gather together for a chapel service. Chapel time is split into three levels so that each student can participate in a time of age-appropriate worship and speaking - transitional kindergarten through third grade, fourth through sixth grade, and seventh through twelfth grade.

Chapel typically begins with a time of worship as a student body followed by a sermon focused on the Biblical theme for the year. Once students reach seventh grade, they may choose to get involved in the student worship team.

Parents and families are welcome to attend weekly chapels to participate in the worship experience. Chapels happen every Thursday at 8:15 - 8:45am (4-6th grade) 8:50 - 9:20am (TK - 3rd grade) 9:30 - 10:15am (7-12th grade) when school is in session.

Small Groups

Once a month, junior high and high school students gather for "small group" chapel, where upperclassmen meet with 5-10 younger students to discuss spiritual concepts and real-world struggles. This provides time for student mentoring and peer support.

At Emmanuel Christian Academy we value community and servant leadership. All students are encouraged to pursue volunteer opportunities to serve their school, neighborhood, and local community.

For Emmanuel upperclassmen, community service is a requirement to receive a passing grade in the required Bible course freshman through senior year. Twenty (20) hours of community service are required each year which breaks down to ten (10) hours of community service each semester.
