OUR MISSION

Emmanuel Christian Academy is a Christ-centered learning community that exists to educate students of Christian families and prepare them for God's calling.

Our vision is to educate children from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, imparting excellence in academic standards while also developing solid moral character. The governing Board of Trustees of Emmanuel Christian Academy seeks to glorify Christ in every aspect of the school and in the fulfillment of all their commitments. In doing so, they seek and desire to provide quality education in an environment that encourages biblical standards for all aspects of the student's educational experience.

Commitment to Excellence

Emmanuel Christian Academy faculty and staff are committed to preparing the next generation of fathers, mothers, laborers, and leaders for our society. In partnership with parents, our goal is to graduate students of character, integrity, and wisdom who seek to follow God’s calling — to love Him above all else. Mark 12:30, "Love the Lord our God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength."

Emmanuel students are immersed in an environment that pursues academic excellence, balanced with opportunities for spiritual, physical, and character growth. Our high academic standards ensure that students have the tools to be successful in higher education and in life after academics.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Emmanuel Christian Academy was founded and functions upon the basic fundamental principles of the Word of God, and it espouses the historic Christian view of life as presented in the Bible. The following statement of faith and practice are held by every Emmanuel Christian Academy employee and school family:

We believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired and only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God.

(II Tim. 3:16, II Peter 1:21)

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

(Gen. 1:1, John 10:30, Jon 10:37-38)

We believe in the creation of man by the direct act of God.

(Gen 1:26 - 28; Gen. 5:1 - 2)

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

(Isa. 7:14, Matt. 1:23, Luke 1:35, Heb. 4:15, Heb. 7:25, John 2:11, Heb. 9:12, Eph. 1:7, Col. 1:14, John 11:25, Acts 1:11, Rev. 19:11-16)

We believe that man is sinful by nature and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential and an absolute necessity for his salvation.

(Rom. 3:19, John 3:16-19, Eph. 2:8 - 10, Titus 3:5-6)

We believe in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.

(Eph. 5:18, Eph. 4:30, I Cor. 3:16. I Cor. 6:19 -20)

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. They who are saved unto eternal life and they who are lost unto eternal damnation.

(John 5:28 - 29)

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Rom. 8:9, I Cor. 12:12 - 13, Gal. 3:26 - 28)
