Emmanuel Christian Academy is seeking a mission-driven Varsity Cheerleading Coach.
An ideal candidate will be energetic, passionate about cheerleading, and dedicated to guiding high school girls spiritually and emotionally.
REPORTS TO:
Athletic Director
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Availability for 3-4 practices per week and attendance at all home and away games
Organizing and planning cheers and dances for the season
Facilitating the Jr. Lions Elementary Cheer Program
Maintaining detailed weekly communication with both parents and athletes
Plan and direct cheer tryouts
Managing time ordering all uniform pieces
Support the Middle School Cheer Coach
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Previous coaching experience preferred
Experience in organization and effective communication
Faith based, servant leadership, mentoring philosophy
Alignment with school mission and faith statement
Must be able to oversee daily operations and practice schedule
Pass a BCI/FBI Background Check
Complete required coaching certifications
Must have or be able to obtain a Pupil Activity Permit
