Dear ECA Family,
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I want to share an update regarding the search for our next Executive Director/Head of School. The Board recognizes the significance of this transition for our school, staff, students, and broader community, and we are committed to ensuring that the process is carried out with the utmost care, transparency, and integrity.
The Board, working with Lee Reno as a consultant to advise and assist the Board, has established a clear and thorough process that includes:
Phase 1 - Pre-Search: Meeting with the consultant, establishing criteria for the ideal candidate, refining the process, finalizing the Search Committee membership, meeting with focus groups, etc. This is our current phase.
Phase 2 - Search: Publish opportunity profile with the job description and gather applications, resumes and other information from interested candidates. Beginning by the end of November.
Phase 3 - Selection: Interview candidates, finalize which candidate will be recommended to the Board by the Search Committee for hire, hire new Executive Director/Head of School.
Phase 4 - Transition: Work to onboard the new Executive Director/Head of School
The Board’s ultimate goal is to select an Executive Director/Head of School who will continue to advance our mission of educating students and preparing them for God’s calling, foster a thriving learning environment, and strengthen our school’s impact for years to come. We are moving thoughtfully and deliberately, with the intention of completing the process in a timely manner while not rushing a decision of such importance.
